Terms of Use

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the service "myteam", provided by TEQneers GmbH & Co. KG, Leinenweberstr. 78A, 70567 Stuttgart, Germany. The service can be used via the mobile application ("myteam App") as well as via a web application ("myteam Web"). By registering, installing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Scope of Services

myteam is designed for the organization and coordination of sports teams, in particular for managing events, teams, and attendance lists. There is no entitlement to constant availability or error-free functionality of the service.

3. Advertising

To finance the service, non-personalized advertisements are integrated. These are an integral part of the myteam App and myteam Web and must be accepted in order to use the service. Use without this form of advertising is not possible.

Additionally, users may voluntarily consent to the display of personalized ads via Google Ads. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in the settings. For more details, see the Privacy Policy.

TEQneers reserves the right to offer paid features in the future (e.g. to disable ads) via in-app purchases or comparable mechanisms.

4. Registration and Use

To use the service, registration with a valid email address is required. Optionally, users may provide additional data such as name or profile picture. The contract is concluded upon installation of the app via the respective app store (e.g. by clicking “Install”).

Use is also permitted by minors, particularly to confirm participation in training events. It is the responsibility of legal guardians to supervise the use by children.

5. Code of Conduct

myteam may only be used within its intended scope. The following actions are specifically prohibited:

dissemination of illegal, offensive, or discriminatory content,
misuse of technical interfaces or functions,
disruption of the operation or security of the service,
uploading or sharing images without the necessary usage rights,
displaying violence, pornography, racism, or other impermissible content.

Users are solely responsible for uploaded content and must ensure that no third-party rights are violated. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or account deletion.

6. Liability & Indemnification

TEQneers assumes no liability for direct or indirect damages, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Users shall indemnify TEQneers from all third-party claims resulting from unlawful use or content they provide.

Users agree to regularly back up their content. TEQneers cannot technically verify users’ identities with certainty.

7. Termination

The user relationship can be terminated at any time by deleting the account or the app.

8. Changes

TEQneers reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be announced within the myteam App and myteam Web. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Inactive User Accounts

TEQneers reserves the right to delete user accounts that have not been actively used for more than six months, at any time and without prior notice. There is no entitlement to permanent storage or restoration of a user account.

10. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers residing in the EU are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of contract conclusion. The withdrawal must be submitted in writing (e.g. via email). The right of withdrawal expires if the user agrees that performance begins before the end of the withdrawal period and confirms that they will lose the right of withdrawal upon contract execution.

11. Applicable Law

German law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart, where legally permitted.

12. Final Provisions

The invalidity of individual clauses does not affect the validity of the remaining terms. All content, data, and actions related to myteam are subject exclusively to German law.
